varanasi news | Amid the intense summer heat and rising temperatures, Maa Jivitputrika Pooja Samiti, Surya Sarovar, BLW, has started a free water kiosk service at Kandwa Gate, BLW, to provide relief to commuters and the general public.The kiosk is supplying chilled drinking water along with jaggery to help people combat heatwave conditions and dehydration. The public welfare initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees and staff organisations.
Chief Mechanical Engineer Inaugurates the Service
The water kiosk was inaugurated by Chief Mechanical Engineer/Production Shri Ram Janam Chaubey. Appreciating the initiative, he said such social service activities spread a positive message in society and reflect the humanitarian values of the BLW family.
Senior Officials and Employees Remained Present
Several senior officials and employees attended the inauguration ceremony, including Chief Mechanical Engineer Shri B.P. Gupta, Senior Personnel Officer Shri Raj Kumar Gupta, Public Relations Officer Shri Rajesh Kumar, Joint Secretary of Staff Council Shri Pradeep Kumar Yadav and many other representatives from various employee organisations Members of Maa Jivitputrika Pooja Samiti and hundreds of employees also participated in the programme.
Dedicated Team Formed for Continuous Service
The Samiti Secretary informed that a dedicated team has been formed to ensure uninterrupted water supply and proper cleanliness at the kiosk. The committee has resolved to continue this service throughout the summer season.This initiative launched within the BLW premises is expected to provide major relief not only to employees but also to common commuters, setting an example of social responsibility and public service.
